Overview
Fixed suppression protects high-value or business-critical assets where extinguishers cannot respond fast enough. We design, install and service FM-200®, NOVEC™ 1230, IG-541, CO2, water mist, kitchen wet-chemical and aerosol systems.
What we do
- Hazard assessment, agent selection and cause-and-effect to BS 7273.
- CFD-modelled coverage for water mist on plant rooms and historic interiors.
- Integration with detection, BMS and HVAC shutdowns.
- Annual servicing including weight checks and discharge testing where required.
- Decommissioning and refilling of cylinders.
Why this matters
Gas suppression systems require rigorous design (room integrity, ventilation, occupancy) and annual recertification. A bad design will not extinguish — and may injure occupants.
Frequently asked questions
Both are clean-agent, electrical-equipment-safe gases. NOVEC 1230 has a much lower GWP (~1) and is the modern choice for ESG-conscious estates.
